Travel: Paris 2024

As I alluded to on the Home page, I had the opportunity in 2009 to travel to Paris as part of a trip offered through my high school. We traveled from Madrid, to Barcelona, through the south of France and the Cote d'Azur, and eventually Paris. During the overnight train ride from Nice to Paris, I became very ill. I later found out after coming home and still having symptoms for over a week, that I had indeed, come down with mononucleosis. I was pretty much bedridden for the whole two days we were there.

But in 2024, I had the opportunity to see the city again, and this time to serve as a tour guide for my parents.15 years after my failed attempt to see Paris, there I was, leading my parents all around the French capital. And all this just three weeks before the Olympics! We had a bonus day in London with my sister at the beginning of the trip as well. All in all, I must say, the entire trip seems like a blur now, but it was  the experience of a lifetime.
